One game that is a pretty faithful remake. More changes than say the Paper Mario TTYD Remake, but not a reimagining trilogy like FFVII. That's too expensive, unsustainable, and will take too long.
It will be absolutely wild if the FFIX remake comes out before FFVII Part III, but it's looking that way right now since it could come out this year or in 2026. Q1 2027 seems like the earliest FFVII Part III will come out and it could take until Holiday 2027.
