Already showed what a dev explained to me and relayed it back here. It's not just him. It's what has to be done. It's esp bad on PS platforms. Sony and Xbox require achievements. And rules so you can just give someone a plat for starting the game.

But by pointing out that there are now achievements for retro games I proved that they are relatively easy to implement and not difficult to do like one person told you.
