I hope Canada is prepared for the onslaught of Russian and American backed disinformation that will be thrown their way during the election. One reason why I think Carney needs to call an election ASAP before Republican Party + Musk and Putin can inevitably try to interfere too deeply into the elections.

Election will be called on Sunday, if reports are accurate. The vote will take place April 28.

As it stands, this is what the seat projection looks like:

Liberals 178 seats (61% chance of a majority, 90% chance of winning the most seats)
Conservatives 130 seats (0.1% chance of a majority, 10% chance of winning the most seats)
Bloc Quebécois 25 seats (35% chance of a minority with the Liberals, 4% chance needing NDP for a minority)
NDP 8 seats (16% chance of a minority with the Liberals)
Greens 2 seats (3% chance of a minority with the Liberals)
People's Party 0 seats (0% chance of a minority with Conservatives)

One thing working against the Conservatives is that they're an oil-shill party, so their support is heavily in the provinces under the dome of oil propaganda. While the Liberals are a more widespread party. The funny thing is that in the oil provinces, politics are far more polarized, so the NDP (which is further left) tends to be more popular there than in other places. Canada also has a heavily urbanized population, and Conservatives largely appeal to the less informed and more culty rural regions.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
