Just Finished: Super Mario Land (GB - NSO)

First time I ever played this Mario game even though I had a GB back in the day. It is a pretty simple and straightforward game in the vein of the original Super Mario Bros. There are only 12 levels and only 10 of them feature traditional platforming. The submarine and airplane levels are neat but play pretty much the same. The game does not feature a save system so players who wanted to beat it pretty much had to clear it in one sitting. The game takes around an hour to beat. It is pretty fun but nothing mind blowing. Must have been fun to have a Mario game to carry around in your pocket way back in 1989. This game introduced Princess Daisy, so it's had an impact on the series as a whole.
