Best first year for a Nintendo console (pre-Switch)

In its first 12 months — at least in North America — SNES had Super Mario World, Final Fantasy IV, F-Zero, Super Castlevania IV, Contra III, A Link to the Past, Turtles in Time, and a few others. That’s my pick.
