It’s probably best to let the Life is Strange franchise retire at this point. Double Exposure is an exhausting game to play.

They might've put out too many games as well in a time period.

LIS: 2015

BTS: 2017-2018

LIS2: 2018-2019

True Colors: All at once in 2021

Double Exposure: 2024-2025

5 games in around 10 years is oversaturated for most IPs. You have annual releases or biennial releases that do well but it's not the norm. 3 years is the largest gap to date between LIS releases, and the gaps are often smaller than that.

I've only played LIS and BTS. I want to play the other games but feel no urgency to do so in my backlog.

The franchise should probably retire or at least take a 5–7-year break.
