I don't care if it's heresy, I prefer Remake and Rebirth over the original FF7. And in the likely chance Part 3 is similar in quality to Rebirth, that will stand. Admittedly, those are the most ambitious remake which is a big reimagining over a trilogy of games.
I never played the original Spyro games, but Reignited is great and there's almost no way I could picture myself preferring the PS1 versions.
PS1 games often have notable to crazy load times. Sure PS1's controller has aged better than N64, but N64 has aged far better in the load time department. That was a clear advantage.
