There is plenty that is bland about it, but parrying a boss was pure dopamine.

Parrying becomes the norm, early on, and loses its appeal.  I happens so fast and then your left with motion blur. 

I guess the types of games played prior will affect opinions on the game. Nothing felt new or better to me when it came to boss fights. I've fought alot of better and more grand bosses in other games. Other people may not have experienced it.
