How did the one before Veilguard perform? If the IP has genuine power then no, this will not be the end of it. Maybe the last game for a while, but that was kinda the case anyway since the last entry was 10 years ago. In 4 years time, I'm sure EA or whoever owns the IP will relook at it and access whether there's potential. Hell maybe a TV show will get commissioned.
