Yes I do agree that it'll be an unusual circumstance to sell 6.6M units of any console in maybe 6 months. But we are talking about Japan. Japan is a huge supporter of the Switch as 28% of the entire population owns a Switch (if one person owns a Switch). Switch 2 has the followers to be able to make 6.67M a possibility.

I didn't think you were downplaying. We just out here says the facts (and my opinions of predictions based on facts available).

Hmmm is there a game in Japan that sold over 6M in a year? I think that would be how we should look at this scenario the Switch 2 has.

I disagree that it's a possibility but at this point lets just agree to disagree and see how it goes. I do think the Switch 2 will sell faster than the Switch did for the first three years but not by a massive degree.
