And providing games like the teased Mario Kart, Metroid Prime 4, a sleuth of 3rd party games and whatever Nintendo's gonna show during the Direct for the Super Switch is exactly what's gonna happen.

I don't feel particularly fearful about their upcoming schedule considering the way they managed the end of the Switch lifespan so far.

Yeah with so many of their key teams cooking for years now, I have no doubt its lineup will be stellar. Third parties will likely also be there in force, as they missed out last time by underestimating the Switch and not being there at the start.

Though, frankly I do think the initial 3rd party wave is gonna contain some wild cards in the form of butched physical release(mandatory downloads noooo !), non parity features with other versions. Like some of the releases we had with the WiiU at launch.

But this time Nintendo has prepared itself to not wait 2 years before giving the big experiences people want. Also the huge BC with the previous library is a massive + if you were a Switch owner anyway.
