Wouldn't surprise me if Sony too launches a Steam-like store of their own in a decade or so, but obviously they'll tread more carefully. |
I think it's ego at this point. They want at least one more shot at a console.
Realistically, Xbox PCs will probably start happening during or after Xbox 5's lifespan.
