| padib said: Nope, I mean new mainline entries, we all know all FFs up until XIII non-inclusive are on switch, no need to own one to know that. By again I do own one though that's none of your business nor relevant to anything we're talking about here. But I have good news for you: Microsoft is already bowing out of the race, bad news for you though they will keep making consoles, but on the bright side for you they won't be playing the exclusives game anymore. Sony already started porting their games to PC and eventually will no longer have a reason to make consoles with exclusives, but they will continue to make mini-PCs like MS will. As for Nintendo, sorry to break it to you but they won the console war, in great part thanks to what is mentioned in OP, Nintendo is now able to support an exclusive console all by themselves, beautiful isn't it? Anyway if this is not to your delight, and you hope for them to stop, I have a recommendation for you: you can stop begrudgingly buying Nintendo consoles. This will make a statement to the executives at Nintendo that someone stopped buying their consoles. They may even fold due to the immense pressure your boycott may have. By the time you look like this, I'll give you a call to see how your dreams are fairing of Nintendo budging out of the market. good luck! |
Well you should have stated newer entries to the FF series in the first place, your post sounded like you didnt know what was on the Switch.
Btw XIII isnt on Switch because none of the modern platforms have a modern version of the game. Xbox has it b/c and the PC version is based on the Xbox 360 version.
You said I wasnt playing main entries so I corrected you that there are indeed main entries, no need for you to get upset about that even though you claim to be a Final Fantasy fan.
Microsoft "bowing" out isnt good news for anyone and anyone who celebrates that is a fool, it spells bad news because Nintendo cant keep up with Sony's focus on pushing out graphics and visuals due to their inexperience with maximizing hardware tech and there not being a close stat competitor would lead to bad decision making upon Sony's side similar to what Xbox did and Sony countered that during the PS4/XBO days about selling used games, etc.
I'm not sure why you say "Bad news since they'll be making consoles" considering the fact that I do own a Xbox Series X and a Series S and I have the intention of continuing on buying future Xbox consoles due to the fact of b/c and my extensive collection on the Xbox ecosystem.
Sony's going to continue making Playstation consoles because they are still selling enough to make profit for it. Thats going to increase now since they wont have a direct competitor (i.e. Nintendo not making pure home consoles and Microsoft expanding the Xbox ecosystem).
There is no console war - each platform holder is on their own path and have their own goals in mind. Its literally the best time to be a gamer especially if you indulge in all of the ecosystems.
Not sure what the rest of the nonsense in your post is, I've purchased every Nintendo system and I've never done boycotts for anything.
You sound a bit insecure about Nintendo lol.
Also leave luck to Heaven ;)
