If you show me how much a picnic table usually costs and how much more these cost (each, not for the total project) we can talk about if it was worth it for it to be solar powered and charge your devices.
Similar to every time these dipshits list a study that they think is obvious as waste, things can seem pretty wasteful if you look at them at a surface level without any thought. if we delve into it and it truly is wasteful then I'm happy to say so but I can't just see "picnic tables for 200,000" dollars without any context and know if that's a waste.
