Admittedly most are only tuning in for the announcements so the "Awards" or the farce it kinda is considered knowadays is basically meaningless to me.
Announcements wise, I don't think there was much drumming about BIG announcements except for someone who said that a specific VG journalist outlet would utter the "OMG" phrase on one of those.
Not expecting from Nintendo this year unless they'd need to drum up a new trailer for Metroid Prime 4 or Xenoblade X DE for some reason ....
I sure hope we ain't to witness another "Wrap this up" moment for the awardees followed by another 10-20 min. of Geoff's lover, Kojima taking his sweet time to show us his latests motion capture experiment and a new Death Stranding 2 trailer.
