Interestingly, Sony doesn't mention numbers for PS Vita and PS VR (PS5 and PS VR2 are the current products, so they don't mention numbers there, makes sense). The only exception where the number doesn't fit is for the PSP where they mention "over 80 million" when it probably should be "over 82 million". But in the PSP's case the "over 80 million" number was mentioned in normal text size, not BIG like for PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4. Therefore, I fully agree, the definitive number for the PS2 is below 161 mil. When the Switch sells 161 mil it will be the definitive winner!

Well, since Sony put the "more than 160.0 million" on their "Business Data & Sales" page, the number is bearing even more truth. If you look at the sales data on that page, you see that they round to the nearest 100K (with some inexplicable outliers: PS5 with "56 million+" (sell-through), PS4 with "more than 117 million" (sell-in) and PS5 with "more than 65 million" (sell-in). Surely, Sony is applying the universally applied bookeeping standard of rounding up from .05 to .09 and rounding down from .04 to .01. That being said, we have an even narrower space for the possible final number of the PS2: As they put the number at "more than 160.0 million", the range can only be between 160.00 (below 4,500 "more") and 160.04. I really think this is the case.
