There's a reason why studies get repeated. There's a reason why studies require large sample sizes. There's a reason why people often do double blind studies. There's a reason why randomness is important for polling. There's a million different things that get done to remove errors and different biases. Random one-off incidents that have 100 different possible causes, are not even worth talking about without more information.
