With no mid gen upgrade from XB, if this gen only lasts 8 years or less, most, including SNY, are going to look back and wish the base PS5 had been 8TF and $399 because PS5 would have 5-10 million more console sales by now, plus Pro would be much more worth it.
If the gen only lasts 8 years or less, then Pro will be mostly useless.
If the gen lasts 10 years, then Pro will end up being worth it.
