Just bring back analog face buttons and we're golden.

As long as devs actually use it this time.

PS2 and PS3 had infrequent use of the pressure-sensitive buttons so many don't care that they're gone.

I wouldn't call DualSense a game-changer yet. Astro's Playroom and Astro Bot are the only games that I feel would lose some of their luster without the features of  DualSense.

I prefer DualSense over JoyCons because I barely use HD Rumble and the JoyCons are so poorly made. Not to mention Nintendo doesn't have analog triggers, while Sony has adaptive triggers which means they're multiple generations ahead in that regard. Digital triggers is pretty much all the way back in the fifth generation when the OG PlayStation controller had digital L2 R2 buttons which were even worse in that they were pretty much extra bumpers instead of even digital triggers.

My perfect PlayStation controller would probably bring back the pressure sensitive buttons (but like I said, have them used more) and bring back the shape of DualShock 4. DS4 in my opinion has the best shape of any PS controller.

And on a non-PS topic, Xbox 360 has the best shape of Xbox controllers and GameCube has the best shape of Nintendo controllers.
