Never said that they don't exist. But at the end of the day they are ps4 games held back by that hardware that have some improvements for ps5 not proper current gen games. You may think differently and thats fine, but you can't force everyone to lineup with what you think. There is absolutely nothing stopping sony from making smaller scale, smaller budget titles. Arguably the best game they've made in years astrobot is a much lower budget title than almost anything else they've released on ps5. Sony usually do start gens pretty slow but build up a great library as time goes on. But the ps5 has been by far the worst, we're 4 years in and it still feels like they haven't done much yet. Naughty dog haven't even announced a new game yet. |
Every gen the games take longer to make, yet Sony has not been slow at all, aside from this year, which they even said would be the case.
BotW is also a Wii U game and bigger in scope than most other Switch games aside from Xenoblade, so Switch also has few new games because most of they very likely could still be running on the Wii U and only are not because there is no money to be made in doing so?
PS5 games having PS4 versions have not stopping them from being some of the most impressive current gen games, have you ever played Gran Turismo 7 or Horizon Forbidden West on a PS5? Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 looks better than the exclusive Xbox Series Forza Motorsport which is newer and runs on a stronger console, the Series X.
Horizon Forbidden West is one of the prettiest games ever made. Can also run at 60fps, double the framerate than on PS4 while doing so.
What is being held back in those games exactly?
If the PS4 versions didn't exist then those very same games would now be counted? As other games inferior to them are? Makes no sense.
