I did enjoy the game quite a bit. It didn't get boring for one second and I loved to play around with echoes and stuff. My only complaints would be that it is in fact a little easy and also quite short. Then again, I played A Link to the Past right after Echoes of Wisdom (because the map reminded me of the game, lol) and I always had ALttP in memory as a pretty long game. Turns out I got through that game in half the time it took me to finish EoW. It was a little harder though.
Anyway, since I don't have too much time for gaming anymore, I'm not even mad about games being a little relaxed and short. I actually enjoy it. It took me months to finish TotK. But I can understand if there are people who are upset about it. 20 years ago I sure as hell would not have liked a game like this. But that was when I got fresh out of school and played games for like 6 hours a day or something.
You can't please everyone but ultimately, I would argue that EoW is very well made and doesn't have too many real flaws aside from stuff that comes down to personal taste. Oh, btw I didn't miss having a sword for one second.
