Including second party, I'd have to go with Banjo Kazooie; from its goofy charm to its memorable worlds to its enormous variety, it's just brilliant through and through.

First party only, probably either F-Zero X for its badass, high energy action, or Xenoblade Chronicles 1 for its unforgettable setting and epic scope.
