Im surprised theres 3 out of 4 people replying, that seems to have mis understood the DF video (or not watched it, before replying in here),
even if its clearly in the title.

It was compairing PSSR to DLSS.

"we cant spot a differnce" "why isn't the leap bigger" ect ect.

This wasn't a PS5pro vs PS5 base model video..

....

Anyways... new video from DF, showing the PS5pro vs the PS5, in Last of Us part 2.
So you guys can go pixle peep, and reply back "Why bother, when you need a telescope to spot the differnce" :P

It's for sure better than FSR but annoyingly I feel like this is the technology this gen should have launched with. It's not really acceptable that in some cases we're playing games with worse image quality than what we experience the gen before. That's essentially unheard of in terms of generations " leaps"

Honestly yes, proper AI  based upscaleing is something all new gen systems should have launched with.

Sony with the PS4 Pro understood the need to bypass native resolutions and had bespoke hardware to perform quick checkboarding. It's a shame that with the PS5 they weren't as efficient in thought.
