I find it crazy a ps5 pro is launching before gta6, and before any proper ps5 built from ground up god of war, a game from naughtydog studios, guerilla games. Almost every exclusive has also released on ps4.

At the rate ps5 eclusives are releasing, why would you want a pro right now. You're supporting a company that would rather give u slightly improved visuals when zoomed in , instead of more true next gen games and experiences, such as what returnal and astro does, combining dual sense controller features and 3d audio for epic experiences. Far superior to what ps5 pro presentation had to offer. Sony needs to get it's priorities straightened out for gamers. It's sitting on it's arse while it has amazing tech to make amazing next gen experiences. Yet it wants to offer a ps5 pro at this stage ..

I'd rather spend a couple of grand and get a future proof pc instead of a laughable no disc ps5 pro

I think, just personal opinion, console people should stop viewing gaming in generations.  It doesn't feel like generations exist in PC and consoles are moving towards a more PC like situation.  Over in the PC people have wildly different setups but we are playing the same games.

If you think ps5 games in the ps4 is bad, it will only be worse with ps6 games on the ps5.  Game engines are easily scaled.  Generations in the old sense are dead.

I hate to say it but consoles games usually have been the ones to set the standards where video games go. Crisis being the exception that blew everything out the water. The majority of big budget games have been on console first.  When i say generation , i'm talking like an evolution leap of standards or experiences that's only possible on the console.

In regards to ps5/ps6,  they will be almost similar in terms of both having an ssd and how you develop games. Ps4 games have been holding back ps5 titles because you can't design a game to take full advantage of the ssd and then scale back for ps4. Yeah you can just use the ssd to makes games load faster.  But i'm talking game design that is made with the ssd in mind, not just for loading. so ps6 won't be held back by ps5 in this regard.  This is why we haven't seen games utilize the ssd in ways but for a rare few titles on ps5, because they didn't have to worry about the ps4.
