What would their "redo" be? They can't be more casual than Nintendo. MS skimped on design/manufacturing to cut costs. This lead to the RROD issues and mounting warranty costs/losses.
I think that Sony is in an excellent position. They have established blu-ray as the disc format to replace DVD and they have a high definition gaming system with amazing potential. The PS2 may very well be financing the introduction of the PS3, just as the PS1 financed the PS2. They have a distinct product for the casual market in the PS2, a good offering in the hand held market with the PSP, and they have excellent momentum with the PS3. So I ask again, what do you think Sony would like to "redo"???
Thanks for the input, Jeff.
