My personal hope is that PS5 Pro gets the Concord treatment in terms of sales, and leads SNY to go back to a single affordable launch console (digital+optical) and a 5-6 year generation.
As long as the hardware remains x86 based, early next gen games can always still be made to be cross gen for a while if devs chose to take that route.
I think PS5 should've been 8TF and $399 this gen if they were going to do another mid gen console.
I wish it would've just been the $499 launch PS5, then PS5 Slim until 2025-2026, and then the PS6 at $499.
