I absolutely despise Musk but I get the vast majority of my gaming news from Twitter and this website doesn't allow Thread Embeds either because we don't really have anyone to create the functionality but holy shit I want to leave Twitter so bad, I hate Musk, I hate Twitter, it's an absolute mess nowadays, but I don't know how popular Threads even is. Does Threads have a Desktop site yet?Just checked if it has my favourite economists (the reason I started using twitter), but nope. Non of them even has a profile let alone being active on there. The platform has become indispensable for fact checking and alternative reporting but this guy has been stepping too many lines literally lighting fires and chaos, what's messed up is that he's not an elected official like Trump, he's a billionaire who got social subsidies from the government to start his biggest businesses and bought Twitter with the profits. It's messed up at so many levels.
