Yeah, but I think that's what they were going for. A dopamine action thrill ride with a horror vibe. Idk, whatever it was they created and for whatever reasons it was perfect the way it was. Just my opinion like. 

I agree it was perfect for it's time but gamers have gotten way more skilled at shooters and horror games, and the remake refines that to perfection but that's just my opinion.
