The history of video game development is one of great interest to me. I know quite a lot of it from the Squaresoft and Nintendo side of thing, particularly in the 1990s because developers like Tetsuya Takahashi and Soraya Saga were so open about their experiences and opinions. Soraya Saga was one of the first devs I recall taking part in forum discussions - she worked as a writer and artist on games like Final Fantasy 6 and Xenogears.
And that's not even talking about those who don't have a bit of a language barrier with EFIGS languages (like Sid Meier and Will Wright).
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
