Games I've beat so far this year: Re7, Re8, Re4 Remake, FFXVI, FFVII Rebirth.
Of those 5 games, I enjoyed Re8 the most. I thought the first half of the game and the ending sections in particular were the highlights. The DLC was also very nice.
I didn't enjoy RE7 and Re4 Remake all that much.
As for the FF games, I preferred FFXVI over VII Rebirth. It's a shame the second half of FFXVI was so much worse than the first half, but the good parts of XVI were very good.
