They really don't need Japan the whole industry doesn't even care much for Japan, even monster hunter is pushing for the more western approach and choosing other console. You seem to think this is a playstation problem but look at the top 15 developers in the world and who really thriving there, yes it's only Nintendo.
As for childish logic, yea what you stated is childish logic but it's banger after banger that don't do much in Japan while the whole world loves them. I usually don't enter these threads cause yea Japan has crap gaming tastes but when resident 4 remake, and sf6 are irrelevant it's a sad state for Japan gaming.
