I was actually tempted on doing a post-mortem article and see what's been done since then.  Because I was almost tempted to outright drop it and let someone else review it.  Giving it a consistent fps and removing that inherent micro-lag when aiming is already a marked improvement.

The default controller settings in this game are pretty poor though so aiming feels off. But with the necessary adjustments it plays quite well.

Dunno why some devs just can't get it right in this day and age.
