For the government, maybe. For the people I think it's more the religious and cultural motivations.

There is also a LOT of anti-semitism against Jewish-Americans from Israel supporters. They still talk about George Soros, the Jewish owners of the Democratic Party, and "Hollywood Jews." Trump has railed against Jewish-American voters multiple times since the 2016 election.
