You act like weak handhelds selling more then powerful consoles is  something it happened many times before. Personally I don't get the appeal of playing on the go and rather have better hardware.

Switch isn't going to just outsell "powerful consoles" it's going to outsell every console. All of them. Every single one. 

You don't get the appeal, but that's not very surprising, you're not in touch with the actual market. 

You're also misguided about the Switch as a hardware, it's not that weak for when it launched, I must've missed the memo when Game Boy Advance was 1/4th of a Playstation 2 or something and could run 3D games and handle ports of actual PS2 games. Switch 1 and Switch 2 will be very different from the Game Boy/DS/3DS lineage of systems, I don't think you're able to understand that.
