LOTR still has untapped potential I think.
I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, but a world as rich as Tolkien's and with a film legacy as incredible as Peter Jackson's trilogy could I think offer a much greater video game experience; something on par with the likes of Witcher 3, Skyrim, BOTW, etc.
As a series fan, I also feel like Godzilla hasn't been done proper justice yet; most of his games are pretty bad, and even the fairly fun Pipeworks games in the 6th gen could've been even better. I'd love to see a game that properly tackles kaiju battles, and makes them it feel really weighty and impactful.
