Xbox would have declined regardless due to Microsoft's PC policy that had already rendered Xbox semi-obsolete. I don't think it has anything to do yet with their PS5/Switch support. There will of course be some damage from that, but I think it'll be more gradual than immediate.

PC is destroying Xbox and hurting Playstation hardware sales. So much that even if Xbox hypothetically exists console hardware, Playstation could very well still decline.

Except this happened last month:

"The Xbox Series X|S is the only console to see growth year-over-year with sales up in the double-digit percentage range."

Let's see how much things have changed for this month.
