By the end of 2024 the Switch should be able to surpass the PS2 in U.S sales to become the bestselling home console in U.S History and the 2nd bestselling console overall in U.S History only behind the DS. It's inevitable at this point it'll surpass the PS2 but it might be too difficult for the Switch to reach the DS in U.S sales this late in the game. I see the Switch selling around 48-49M in the U.S when all said and done, around 5-4M less than DS.
