Well he actually has not been convicted of anything yet so right now its still a toss up.  With how long it takes these cases to actually go to trial then appeal,  there is the chance he could be president and still get at least convicted in GA as I am sure he would drop all federal cases against him, which mind you should be something that should not be allowed by any President.

As for Americans, they just vote for the party they feel affiliated with, then there are the total nut cases and in between are the independents who lean one way or the other.  It should be interesting to see how the election goes if Trump is the GOP candidate.

According to the constitution he should be blocked from running again.  The laws are just not being enforced.  But if we follow the law he is not able to run again.

I don't really think the race is as much of a toss up as some of the polls imply.  People forget that Biden won by like 8 million votes.  Only 13 states in the US have populations a larger than that.

How is that so, the constitution does not block even a convicted criminal from running and becoming president.  There have been a number of lawyers opinions on if Trump is convicted both in a federal and the state GA criminal case and on both fronts they say he can still be president.  Now on the federal level he can pardon himself but on the state level he cannot and the interesting thing about the GA case is that not even the governor can pardon Trump if he is convicted.  The GA governor does not have the ability to pardon instead its a group appointed by the governor so who knows how that would pan out.  He could actually be in jail, does not get pardon and has to work from that cell which would be the absolute crazies thing to probably ever happen in US politics.
