So that leaves just PS2 and DS.
DS is probably out of reach, but there's a chance Switch could manage to surpass the PS2 in America, depending on how its legs hold from this point onwards.
The Platform Totals page has PS2 at 53.65m in North America, with Switch at 47.26m. Not an insurmountable gap.
