Heh. It is incorrect, and I have to admit I didn't think about that game at all when I wrote the hint, but I see how it fits quite well. Or does it, NSMB2 and NSMBU released a couple months from each other, mine released a lot closer than that.

Well yeah, I did stretch the definition of simultaneous to make my guess work. But clearly that was the wrong way to go!
