Well, the first two episodes are out now; apparently they'll be releasing once a week for the next two months, so anyone who wants to use the free trial to watch them all at once should probably hold off for now and binge it in January.
Thankfully, my girlfriend landed us three months for free so I'm watching it as we go. So far, it's really good! The human component is a notable step up from most giant monster movies.
