For anyone who hasn't seen it, the original series is very good. I was hooked from the very beginning, and while the slower pacing throws some off, that ceases to be a factor later on. Also, somehow the story that I didn't think could get more interesting (after that fantastic intro), got more interesting. There are some phenomenal scenes in it.
I haven't got around to it yet, but I'm looking forward to watching the new series. Even if you haven't played the games and are unfamiliar with Castlevania, this show is interesting... although, I doubt that's anyone here, but perhaps a significant other.
