PS5 is strong as usual though the Starfield boost for the Xbox Series was certainly disappointing if it's down compared to last September even if only slightly and also down compared to the Xbox One. Considering how mixed the reception was for Starfield its legs probably aren't gonna be that good and since most people bought it on PC it's gonna help some but not enough to turn things around at all. There's still three months left to go but unless it ends up being up significantly this holiday season this'll be another weak year hardware wise for Xbox. At least Activision Blizzard games coming to Game Pass next year should help but even if there's a good first party lineup in 2024 it'll be tough for the needle to get moved when they're all coming to PC the same day.

Also after a long boost Switch is returning to normal now and while it should have at least a decent holiday season the sales decline should hasten throughout 2024.
