PlayStation's inflated ego is on display once again. Slim models are supposed to be cheaper than standard models, not the same (or more in the case of the previous Digital vs the Slim Digital). Also, it seems like a bad business practice to announce this a mere month in advance. This should've been announced between June-September.
I'm so glad I didn't get a PS5 in 2023, because I would feel extra salty right now.

So that nobody will buy a PS5 starting from June as people will wait for the slim? Sales would drastically drop if this was announced way ahead of time.

Sidenote: I'm surprised Sony didnt try to make a Spiderman bundle with this instead. Either push the spiderman date back or the slim date forward to align with each other. As wells.

I stand corrected. I remembered things wrong. PS4 Slim was announced mere weeks before its release, same with the PS3 Slim. PS2 Slim was about a month or more in advance announcement, like this PS5 Slim.

Still, the pricing complaint still stands.
