What are you talking about? Nintendo Directs have been done like this for the entire Switch generation. There's nothing new about it. You just didn't like some of the trailers in this one. If the general ones are sterile and bland the mini Directs and partner Directs are too. Because they are all done the exact same way. The Indie World Showcases aren't Directs.
