Everyone talking about how Microsoft is buying companies and how Sony should acquire square enix, meanwhile I'm here asking, when is Nintendo just going to buy gamefreak?

I'm shocked they didn't do that years ago, even more shocked than I am that they didn't acquire Rare when they had the opportunity. Sure it was bleeding talent at the time, but they could have still brought in new blood. Most companies do that all the time, right?
