I mean that issue doesn't change the fact that the government can just halt game releases whenever they want and even force things onto the system like time limits for play. 

Why would you pay the equivalent of $400+ on a system that for all you know in one week might not be getting any games for like 1-2 years when you could just easily get a Japanese version without any of those issues. 

I didn't say people will stop importing PS5's, I said all it would take is some of them to import them from somewhere else.
