I know it's very unlikely to happen, it is more a wishful thinking than anything. I really would a like a way to use a gamepad controller like Wii U did.

It's really not that difficult to accomplish, since it's only to keep the screen functional while in home console mode, the only difficulty here is if they're willing to take the risk and give Wii U type of games a second chance

I would really like that too. I think there was a lot of untapped potential there. But, I don't know how much that would add to the cost, and how feasible it would be.

Well, based on the Switch, we have a handheld that you can detach the buttons to became a controller, then the rest of the console you put in a dock connected to a TV to "become" a home console. What if in the next gen you not only could do that, but also detach the screen from the rest of the console? Keeping the joy cons and the screen, putting only the console in the dock and voila! You have a console similar to Wii U. I name this mode as "Dual Screen" mode to add to the existing ones.

In my mind is very easy, I will leave to the design team in Nintendo to hack this up lol
