Personally I don't think when is that important.  It needs to be priced right and have a good lineup.  BC would help too.  I think Nintendo needs to target $350, maybe $400.  Many are predicting $500...  I think it bombs if over $400.

When matters in that Nintendo won't want to have a period of low revenue when their current system isn't bringing in much money any more but their next one still isn't ready yet. No point having that happen when you can avoid it.
