If Nintendo waits a long time for a Switch successor, what do you think will happen?

Well if they are just focused on making profital hardware no reason for switch 2 to release till 2025. I mean we have never seen a console sell like this with out discounts and why would they wanna end it unless they wanna go after Sony marketshare. The hardware and software is on fire.

Ideally, you want to transition while your brand is still hot, not wait until its dying. You don't want to end up in a position where your next system is still a while away but your current one is running out of steam.
